On 2/7/17, the Army Corps announced it would grant the easement to finish construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline pipeline under the water of the Missouri River, without having to complete an Environmental Impact Statement, which was required and halted work for the past two months. It is a heavy blow to everyone still out there standing for their access to clean water and a real blow to tribal sovereignty around the nation.

Tomorrow please join the Native American Health Alliance (NAHA) and the Do No Harm Coalition on the steps of the UCSF Medical Sciences Building at 513 Parnassus from 12pm-2pm, to send a message to the UC Regents to divest $3 million of our retirement funds from Energy Transfer Partners and the banks that support DAPL. This is part of a UC-wide action.
